Reels of Treasure Slots

Who would say no to discovering more about some Reels of Treasure? Treasure heavily features in plenty of slot games, so finding more of it here is nothing new. That ups the stakes when we are searching for an entertaining game to play.

We think you’ll find lots to appreciate here though, so settle back and read our review before you find the Reels of Treasure slot to try it for yourself.

Who came up with this game?

This is another promising title from the ever-expanding collection at Nucleus Gaming.

Don’t miss the practice version

The game has lots to offer, which makes it even more important than usual to find out what is on those reels. The demo supplies the chance to check it all out with ease.

A treasure-filled theme

You expected nothing less, we’re sure. The treasure is piled up in the background, in front of the reels, and it appears on them too.

Supported by a sharp design

The stacks of banknotes look real enough. The gems do as well, as do the gold bars. Boy, there is plenty to check out here. It feels as if we could almost reach out and touch the crown on the left side of the screen…

How to play Reels of Treasure slots

The usual five-reel, three-row format is in action here. While lots of Nucleus Gaming slots don’t have progressive jackpots, this one treats us to four of them. Each one has a different name, with two in the top left and two in the top right corner of your screen.

There is a wild shown in gold against a blue background. This carries a 2x multiplier for all prizes it aids towards. You will only see wilds on the second and fourth reels, but if you win something with two wilds, you receive a 4x multiplier instead. The wild substitutes for most symbols but not for the scatter or the Megastar icon.

The scatter is an open vault. You only need one to get a prize, but the more scatters you find, the bigger the prize. It can pay for up to 15 scatters on the screen.

Paylines in play

Reels of Treasure uses 10 fixed paylines.

Place your bets before you play

Coins in this game go from two cents to one dollar, with 10 cents appearing by default upon loading the game. If you want to wager more than one coin on each line you can, reaching a maximum of 10 of them.

Don’t miss the paytable

It shows you what all the symbols look like, explains how they all work, and goes into detail about the special features.

Look out for the Rolling Wins feature

This is a bonus of sorts, occurring whenever you get a prize. The prize is paid before a free respin takes place. If another prize appears, you get another respin. The first four spins receive the standard prize, but if you get to five, six, or seven spins, prizes are worth 2x the usual amounts. Get to eight or more consecutive spins and a 3x multiplier is in play.

When a losing spin occurs, the game reverts to normal with a 1x multiplier in action again.

Free spins with a difference!

Find three Megastar symbols (gold star icons) and you will get at least 10 free spins. The more symbols you find, the more spins you receive, up to 25 of them for five Megastar icons.

In this round, you’ll move across to the Megastar Jackpot reel set. There are bonus exploding scatters, different symbols to look for, and trails for each of the jackpots. Yes, there is a chance you could net a jackpot if you get into this feature.

RTP details

As with many titles from the same developer, no published return to player percentage is available.

Our rating for Reels of Treasure

Well, this game does live up to the title, doesn’t it? It packs in lots of features, perhaps more than you expected, and you get a chance to go for a progressive jackpot. Few will manage to walk away with one of those, but it is nice to see the potential is there in a Nucleus Gaming title. This is certainly a 9/10 game, we think you will agree.

The Megastar jackpot is the biggest of all

When we took the demo for a spin, we noticed that jackpot was displayed at $75,000. That won’t be accurate for the real game, of course, but it gives you an idea of what is up for grabs.

Start with some demo spins

We wouldn’t recommend playing the real game until you are familiar with the controls and what to expect from it. Fortunately, Nucleus Gaming is a reliable source of demo action.

Are you going to play for real?

We think lots of players are going to consider doing this, as the game offers a lot of features and a low minimum wager of 20 cents.

Try it on a small screen too

Yes, your smartphone or tablet is ideal for getting onto this set of reels as well. Android or iOS, you are welcome to use either.
