Lucky Orbit Slots

If we asked you to think of a few online slot games based around a space theme, we are confident you could produce some good titles. You’ve got another one to add to your list now too, thanks to the release of Lucky Orbit slots.

Lucky Orbit is a good-looking game with several neat features. We are going to cover all of them here, so prepare to learn more.

Developer information for Lucky Orbit

Arrows Edge has released this slot game for online play.

It comes with a fully featured demo

This means you can play it without risking your cash. You can see whether you like it and if so, you can consider making a real wager.

A theme that is out of this world

Well, yes… we are in space for this one, but you won’t just see humans in action. You’ve also got a monkey in a space helmet, so the slot has a few neat twists to share.

A 2D design on offer

It looks a little like many other Arrows Edge slots, but we like that familiarity. There are planets, flashing lights, and machinery present too. The title lights up at the top of the screen.

Getting down to basics with Lucky Orbit slots

The game uses the familiar 5 x 3 format. It also displays the Cash Grab jackpot – one of three that Arrows Edge is known for, although only the one appears here.

A green alien is wild and is labeled, although he (or she?) is hard to miss. A glowing sun is marked as the free spins icon. Finally, you can spot a scattered planet that looks like Earth, granting prizes whenever three or more appear. Wilds substitute for everything except these two symbols.

Wilds do not appear in the first 25 spins. However, from then on, all wilds that appear turn sticky. Spins 26-50 see wilds stay in place for three spins. It then increases to four spins with sticky wilds until the 75th spin. Between spin 76 and 100, you see all wilds go sticky for five spins before it resets to the starting point.

Wild icons also appear in stacks and can only appear on the middle three reels.

Paylines are fixed

And there are 35 to play on.

Place a total bet on each spin

You can see this underneath the second reel. The default is $3.85, but you can reduce this to 35 cents, meaning you would play one cent per reel. The biggest total wager is $240.10, which we calculate as $6.86 per line, oddly!

Lots of information in the paytable

Select the question mark and find out about the rules and icons in the game before you begin play.

Bonus features in Lucky Orbit

There is a superb Mega Symbol feature in this game. Look for the Nova lights above the middle three reels. These can be on or off following any spin. Light up two adjacent ones and those reels join to form a giant reel with 2 x 2 Mega Symbols.

You then receive one or more respins, depending on how many you need to achieve a prize. At that point, everything returns to normal.

Free spins to be won

Find three, four, or five glowing sun scatters and you will receive 10, 12, or 20 free games, respectively. these include the chance for the Nova reels to trigger, although here you stand a chance of triggering all three middle reels to create one giant reel with 3 x 3 symbols on it.

The only difference here is that instead of respins, you get a free spin from however many you have left. If none are left, the feature doesn’t trigger, and you return to the base game.

No RTP is available

Arrows Edge has not announced the return to player rating for this game yet.

Our rating for the Lucky Orbit slot

There is much to appreciate in this game. Once you go beyond the first 25 spins, the sticky wilds start showing up. Of course, that does mean you need to be sure you want to play it for that many spins.

The giant symbols, free games, and respins are all good, warranting a score of 8/10 from us.

When does the jackpot drop?

No one knows, but Arrows Edge states that the jackpot is usually won when it sits somewhere between $2k and $5k. Could it be somewhere near that now?
